The Katy Back to School 5k is a live race. All registrants will receive a race shirt and a chipped bib. Race proceeds will benefit Ainsley’s Angels of America. In addition to ensuring everyone can experience endurance events, Ainsley’s Angels of America aims to build awareness about America’s special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life. Serving as advocates to providing education and participating as active members in local communities, Ainsley’s Angels believe everyone deserves to be included.
KARC is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving area runners and the local running community. All runners and walkers are welcomed. ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES Noon 9/4 While we endeavor to provide all participants with a race shirt, race shirts can only be guaranteed to participants registering before 9/1. Race shirts will be available on a first-come/first-served basis to participants registering on 9/1 or later.
Packet Pickup will be held in the courtyard at the Villagio Town Center just outside Good Times Running Company, 22764 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, TX 77450. The tenative dates and times are: Friday, September 2; 4pm to 7 pm Saturday September 3th: 12:00 – 3:00pm Sunday, September 4th: 12:00 – 3:00pm and 6 am before raceday.

The Katy Back to School 5K event is owned and managed by the Katy Area Running Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit. All sponsorship contributions will be tax-deductible.
Except for the Title Sponsor, all sponsorship levels will be non-exclusive.

In addition to the above listed sponsorship levels we are also seeking product donations (i.e. Gift Cards, Water bottles, t-shirts, key chains, sports drinks, anything that could be used as door prizes, etc). It is at your discretion to provide the quantity of items as they could be used to either be included as prizes or distributed to all racers. In exchange for such a product donation, the following promotional services will be provided:
- Listed as supporter on website
- Sixth tier level company name on back of race shirt
- Company name displayed at packet pick-up
- “Shout out” in race packet
General Information regarding Event Sponsorships:
Sponsorship money is due by August 8, 2022.
Promotional items should be event appropriate and must fit inside the goodie bag.
Deadline for Sponsorship Commitments is August 1, 2022.
