I chose KARC because I am more familiar with the area, and boy are I am glad that I did. From my first group run in May 2021, I have felt so welcomed by everyone in the Maverick group. The fellowship, friendship, and support this amazing group of people give each other is like nothing I have ever experienced. It feels like a completely natural fit when we are out super early, logging miles together. The mornings I spend with KARC leave me feeling refreshed, renewed, and energized, and for that and the life-long friends, I have made I am so grateful.

I am happier and healthier, both physically and mentally, than I think I have ever been, and I have running and my Maverick friends with KARC to thank for that. I am hoping to line up at the 2022 Chevron Houston Marathon alongside many of them and hope that they know how much I appreciate them and how they motivate me constantly.
